Wolf and Woman started as a pop up restaurant in Seattle, Wa. in 2017. Eventually extending into house-made masalas.

The supper club now operates under White Elephant which blends Malaysian and Tamilian cuisine to create a modern take on the traditional banana leaf spread. The passion to showcase the diverse and flavorful ingredients of Southern California, while also paying homage to our heritage and culture. White Elephant is inspired by the sacred Indian elephant and the early punk movement in the UK. This combination represents a powerful rectification of the imperialism that took place in the past, and creates a space for our guests to experience our story through taste. This project has been a labor of love.

“Some days I am more wolf than woman, and I am still learning how to stop apologizing for my wild.”

— Poet Nikita Gill
